Well, it's holiday time and Josh Groban and Michael Bublé are both becoming relevant once again. For most of the world at least. I'm a big fan of both of them personally, and you can say what you want, but I think they are great.
And pretty damn attractive at that.
Anyways, let's get on with this murder train where my thoughts will be conveyed but likely butchered somewhere between my brain and my fingers.
Oh, the joy's of the holiday season.

Freedom at last! Lucky me, starting today, get's two weeks off from school. These two wonderful weeks shall be full of food, holiday cheer, and, best of all, sleep.
Or they would include sleep if my melatonin clock wasn't so messed up. I woke up at 4:30 this morning, without any alarm, and I couldn't get back to sleep. This awful sleepless feeling reminded me of another recent day when I got no sleep. That day was December 18th.
Recently I have discovered the delicious magic of eggnog, and I think that you people out there that were like me before this past Monday, all ignorant and nogless, should know what you are missing.

So, as you may already know, I enjoy school, so I am in Honors Biology at the current time. Well, that's mostly because I am infatuated with science, but that is besides the point. Today in Biology we were talking about the cell cycle and how screwing with your cell cycle can cause cancer. You would think it would be just a normal day in Bio class.

Welcome back my lovelies. Currently, I am writing as slowly as I can possibly stand to type because my hands are still defrosting from standing outside in the 4 degree weather (that's four degrees Farenheit, if you didn't realize). Yes, I was waiting for the city bus in well below freezing temperatures, but that's the way that I get home, so what choice did I have really?
So, this is what I'm doing on a Tuesday morning that seems oh-so-dreary while sitting in a classroom with the blinds drawn. It seems oddly metaphorical of how life has been recently, what with having stress fractures in both of my tibias. Everything is so sour and dark, but there are these few beautiful streaks of light peeking round the corners to tease me.

So, I spent this past weekend (Nov. 8 - 10th) trying to be a good person, which involved me volunteering at the Navajo Rug Show at the Snow Park Lodge in Deer Valley. Personally, I have a very strong connection to this event. I mean, I've been going every year since I was in the first grade, and I have helped support one of the Navajo Elders throughout the years.

I have a bit of an apology to make. I've been lazy about posting again, but I really want to do a quick Halloween post. Mostly because I would hate myself if I forgot to pay due homage to All Hallow's Eve.
Here's my recipe for a perfect Halloween:
Welcome back my friendlies! Today, I have decided that since I recently attended a couple of parties I would do a quick blurb on how to maximize fun while minimizing stupidity when it comes to Halloween parties.
So, here is my number four song in my 101 Awesome Songs posting sage. I know most people don't like loud rock, or screaming, but I love rib cage shaking guitar solos. Watch out, my emo streak is showing.
NO. I'm NOT talking about eating people. I'm talking about interviewing your fellow journalists for quotes to supplement your articles. Normally, we would not allow cannibalism (we being me and my fellow Editors in Chief down at the TMJH Park City Post (the online magazine I edit for)), but today is make-or-break day. What the journalists can write in the next hour determines if they pass or fail this class for this quarter. I'm hoping that I can have mercy on their souls.
I kind of want this on a t-shirt...

So, if you've read my about page, you would know that my parents are divorced. Basically, this has left me with two families, each with their own distinct flavor. Each person their own piece of this perfectly lopsided puzzle. The most important pieces are my siblings. Today, I'm going to write about them, and about how I associate with them.
The most important pieces of glorified cardboard...
For the First Time by The Script on GroovesharkCue the mood music (aka. the song that has been stuck in my head for the past few days)
Starting in April this last year, I went running. At first, it was nothing, just a casual workout every Tuesday and Thursday with one of my best friends, Skylar. We would do a few laps around the track, then 10-20 minutes on the treadmill, but mostly we were going to the gym for the steam room in the ladies lockers. After that, I joined a Running With Ed team for my English teacher, Ms. Hooker. Before I knew it, I had run two legs of a 40 mile relay, the first being six miles long, the second being seven. At the time, it was the most I had ever run, and I felt totally crazy for doing it with almost no practice.

Here comes the posting train, with songs two and two and a half in the 101 Awesome Songs Posting Saga. I thought I should smash these two songs into the same post because the second song is just a sort of "amped up" version of the first. To quit beating around the bush, let the musical musings begin!
So, to all you music junkies out there, you're going to love this. Today, I begin the epic journey of 101 blog posts, each featuring an awesome song, from the oldies, to the piping hot number ones. This list isn't going to be in any particular order, it's just going to be a profile of the artist and why this particular song of their's qualifies as one of my 101 favorites.
When I woke up this morning, I was actually quite optimistic. I was all, “Good Morning Everyone! Today’s the day! The sun is shining, the tank is clean, and we are getting out of here... GASP!”
Hello to everyone out there in the blogosphere! Just wanted to do a quick post because I found something highly exciting when I went to see how many page views I have gotten thus far, coming out at a whopping 43. This is probably next to nothing for some of the heavy weight bloggers out there, but it made me quite happy, so I thought I would share my happiness with all you silly people.

What a way to begin my blogging experience! With a shallow prompt from my English teacher, that’s how I will take my first step on my blogging journey.
