101 Awesome Songs, Adventures in AP Geography...

Welcome, welcome my friends. It's been a long time since I've done a post on a specific song, and this one definitely deserves some time to shine.

The short backstory on this song is that my AP Geography teacher told us that if we had our phones out in class he would replace our music with Irish punk. The majority of the class was basically ecstatic at this, so then he threatened Hannah Montana music, and that really makes me cringe. He then proceeded to play songs like this for us, and I am rather excited to share its glory with you.

You've Got Anxiety, I've Got Anxiety, Let's Make a Playlist...

So, not to insinuate by any means that anyone is mentally unstable, I'm just saying that we all have nervous break downs every once in a while. Especially people like me who have a lot going on with their family, and take all honors classes, and do extracurricular activities as well. Plus, asthma. Enough said there.

Anyways, I'm currently freaking-the-freak out about my debate tournament tomorrow, during which I will be giving a ten minute speech that I've barely memorized tonight and being judged against people who have been doing this far longer than I have, seeing as this is only my second tournament and I don't even take debate class. It's not like I've bitten my nails entirely off, but, well, let's just say it's hard typing with band-aids on all of your fingers. I'm only half joking.

101 Awesome Songs, Taking Things Slow

So, this is what I'm doing on a Tuesday morning that seems oh-so-dreary while sitting in a classroom with the blinds drawn. It seems oddly metaphorical of how life has been recently, what with having stress fractures in both of my tibias. Everything is so sour and dark, but there are these few beautiful streaks of light peeking round the corners to tease me.
