Cultural Connections of an Unexpected Kind...

Me and my "Grandmother", Ruth Benally. She's in her nineties and she still remembers seeing me at the shows when I was small.

So, I spent this past weekend (Nov. 8 - 10th) trying to be a good person, which involved me volunteering at the Navajo Rug Show at the Snow Park Lodge in Deer Valley. Personally, I have a very strong connection to this event. I mean, I've been going every year since I was in the first grade, and I have helped support one of the Navajo Elders throughout the years.

Cannibalism is Okay Today...

TMJH Park City Post
NO. I'm NOT talking about eating people. I'm talking about interviewing your fellow journalists for quotes to supplement your articles. Normally, we would not allow cannibalism (we being me and my fellow Editors in Chief down at the TMJH Park City Post (the online magazine I edit for)), but today is make-or-break day. What the journalists can write in the next hour determines if they pass or fail this class for this quarter. I'm hoping that I can have mercy on their souls.
